I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Gold Crown Service. Gold Crown is a company that has been in the bowling service business for over 40 years. It was started back in 1960 by my grandfather Leo Shomphe. Since then my father, David Shomphe, has taken the business and passed it down to his two sons, Chris and Steve. For three generations, we have strived to maintain an exceptional combination of quality work and customer service. My father always taught me to complete work, "as you would want to be done in your own bowling center or home." This simple statement has created a philosophy of hard work and integrity that has allowed Gold Grown to become one of the largest bowling service companies in the country.

As Gold Crown has grown in size, our commitment to customer service has strengthened. We care about our customers and stand behind our work. It is not uncommon for one of us to visit our customers once or twice a year. These trips provide a unique opportunity to not only catch up with our loyal customers but also keep a close eye on potential service issues and opportunities to upgrade their centers. In addition to service, the standard of our work has remained a focus. We monitor industry trends and use the most state of the art techniques and materials to complete all of our projects. What sets us apart from our competition is our staff. Our foremen are well versed in all things bowling. Over 100 years of combined experience in the industry has provided customers with quality workmanship and unmatched service on each and every project.

Like many bowling service companies, we started as a resurfacing focused business. Over the years, with more and more synthetic materials coming available we have expanded our capabilities. Currently, we have five divisions of Gold Crown that focus and specialize in the following areas:

  • Resurfacing
  • Scoring Installation
  • General Service and Upgrades (Bumpers, Gutters, Seats, etc.)

As you can see we are more than capable of accommodating any modernization within your bowling center. In addition to the installation of new products and materials, we also have the ability to provide you with refurbished products that can provide your center with a more affordable upgrade.

It is my belief that our company can provide you with a level of service that you have not seen before. We currently have the resources and industry connections to accommodate anything that your center needs.
